Website relaunch for a German dealer of exclusive vehicles: a fast, bilingual site with vehicle inventory, brand landing pages and enquiry flows, built for search from the first page.
Role
Design, development, technical SEO
Context
Auto Salon Schwarzwald — dealer of exclusive vehicles, Germany
Period

Platform

The challenge
The dealership sells exclusive vehicles and relies on its stock being found and presented well. Its existing site ran on a standard dealer website system: functional, but limited in design, speed and search visibility. The relaunch had to give the cars the presentation they deserve and keep every ranking the old URLs had earned.
The approach
The new site is built on Next.js with German as the default language and English as the second. Vehicle data sits behind a single data layer, so the source can be switched to the dealer's marketplace feed without touching the pages. Search was part of the structure from the start: brand and model landing pages, filtered result pages that do not compete with them, and permanent redirects from every old address.
What was built
- 01
Inventory and vehicle pages
Filterable stock list and detail pages with gallery, technical data and enquiry options.
- 02
Brand and model landing pages
Dedicated pages per brand and model; filtered listings are excluded from the index or point to them.
- 03
Enquiry flows
Contact, vehicle enquiry and test drive forms, plus a three-step trade-in wizard, validated on the server and sent by email.
- 04
Structured data
Dealer, vehicle and offer, FAQ, breadcrumb and list markup on every page type, with an image sitemap.
- 05
Motion and theming
Smooth scrolling, animated sections and a light and dark theme.
The outcome
The relaunch is in development and has not replaced the live site yet. Design system, inventory, vehicle pages, content pages, forms and the SEO layer are built.
